Prior to founding WindmillNext, Drew held the position of Vice President, Marketing Services at iboats.com where he was hired specifically to build and lead the newly created division. Building the Marketing Services division's online brand presence from the ground up, growing consumer traffic by 200%, improving conversion by 22% and increasing revenues by 300%, Drew established iboats.com as an industry leader in online lead generation.
Prior to iboats.com, Drew was an integral part of building the brand of competing online portal; boats.com. Responsible for a diverse portfolio, including P&L responsibility for 3 of 5 major revenue lines within the company, Drew developed and led the online brand strategy and B2B/B2C marketing campaigns designed to improve industry awareness, drive site traffic, acquire new customers and solidify boats.com’s position as the leading destination for online boat buyers and sellers.
